This assembly is for 2017–2020 Tesla Model 3 with the original chrome side repeater cameras fitted to the front fenders, just behind the front wheels. The choice here is simple: select the left or right side of your vehicle.

This is a replacement for the original chrome assembly, not an upgrade to HW4/AI4 cameras. A wrap or chrome-delete cover does not by itself change the camera underneath.

One complete assembly

The camera, side turn-signal light and chrome-finished outer trim come together in the replacement housing. Built-in mounting features position the assembly in the existing fender opening.
For a diagnosed failed camera, damaged repeater or broken housing, this gives you a complete replacement for the affected side. The vehicle’s wiring harness and installation tools are separate.

If the only damage is cosmetic trim and the camera, light and housing still work correctly, a trim-only repair may be sufficient. A black camera feed or warning can also come from wiring or another system fault; a technician can confirm which component needs repair before fitting.

Have a Tesla-experienced technician complete the repair and software checks. The assembly fits into the front fender; the repair also includes reconnecting the camera and lamp wiring and completing the applicable reset and calibration procedure.

Follow Tesla’s side repeater replacement procedure, including the DAS reset and camera calibration steps applicable to the vehicle.

Verify the camera feed, turn-signal operation and secure fit. Complete the required manual-driving calibration before relying on the affected driver-assistance features.

Is this the camera assembly or just a chrome cover?
This is one complete side repeater camera and turn-signal assembly with chrome outer trim and its housing. It is not a decorative overlay.
Does this fit my 2017–2020 Model 3?
Yes, for a Model 3 retaining its original chrome side repeater hardware. Choose the side that needs replacement. If a previous repair or conversion changed the camera hardware, TESERY can identify that configuration from a photo and the existing part label.
Can I use it on a 2021 or newer Model 3, or on Model Y?
This listing covers the original chrome 2017–2020 Model 3 application. Choose a separate listing matched to the later Model 3 or Model Y camera hardware.
Is left the driver’s side?
On a left-hand-drive car, yes. On a right-hand-drive car, the vehicle’s left side is the passenger’s side. Use the side guide above: imagine sitting in the car and looking forward.
Will I receive a pair?
No. Each selection is one camera-and-light assembly. For both sides, add one Left Side and one Right Side to the cart.
Is calibration needed?
Yes. Tesla’s procedure requires camera calibration data to be cleared when a camera is moved, and includes the applicable reset routines after replacement. The vehicle then self-calibrates during manual driving. Plan this into the repair.
Is this a genuine Tesla part?
This is a new aftermarket replacement offered by TESERY for the compatible Model 3 application listed above. The reference numbers identify the replacement application.
Does it add newer Autopilot hardware or remove turn-signal glare?
It replaces the original-style side repeater assembly. It does not add HW4/AI4 capability, unlock software features or constitute a verified anti-glare camera upgrade.
