Choose this shell when the mirror glass is intact, the mirror adjusts and folds normally, and the mirror base and inner carrier are secure. It replaces the painted upper outer cap.
If the glass is broken, the mirror hangs loose or the folding mechanism has stopped working, that component needs repair too. The painted shell completes the exterior repair.
Your order includes: one painted ABS shell in your selected color and side. Mirror glass, motor, base, lower housing and installation tools are not included.

Replacing an existing cap? For Model Y Juniper, the left shell corresponds to reference family 1963538; the right shell corresponds to 1963539. These are the base numbers to look for in your original part reference.

How to choose: look up your vehicle's paint code in Car Details, or check the paint-code label on the vehicle. Match that code to the table above. Stealth Gray differs from Midnight Silver Metallic (PMNG), and Ultra Red differs from Red Multi-Coat (PPMR).
Already repainted or wrapped? Match the mirror finish you want to keep. For a custom repaint, ask your body shop to match the current paintwork. Before installation, hold the new shell beside the mirror in daylight to compare the finish.

The molded tabs sit inside the mirror, keeping the attachment out of view.
Remove the damaged painted cap, inspect the carrier underneath, then fit the replacement shell into position. This cap takes the place of the original outer shell; no adhesive overlay is needed.
If an impact has broken the carrier's retaining points, repair those points before fitting the new shell so it can seat securely.

Unpack your shell and check the selected side, paint finish and clips. Keep the packaging until you have confirmed your choice.
Fit with care.
Have a body shop or Tesla-experienced installer remove the old cap and seat the new retaining tabs. Protect the mirror glass and painted edges during the repair.
Enjoy the result.
Check that the shell sits securely with an even edge, then test mirror adjustment and folding. Your finished repair should leave the mirror's normal functions working.

Is this a new part or a used Tesla cap?
This is a brand-new aftermarket replacement shell sold by TESERY. It is not a used part or a Tesla-manufactured original.
Does it fit Model YL?
Yes. This shell fits Model YL as well as the refreshed Model Y Juniper. Choose your paint color and Left (LH) or Right (RH); a separate vehicle variant is not needed.
Does it arrive painted?
Yes. Choose Pearl White, Solid Black, Stealth Gray, Ultra Red or Quicksilver. Each shell arrives in the selected painted finish. Use the paint-code table above to match your Tesla color.
Does one order include both sides?
Each item contains one shell. To replace both sides, add one Left (LH) and one Right (RH). The mirror glass, motor, base and lower housing are not included.
Is it a stick-on cover?
It is a replacement cap with molded retaining tabs. The damaged cap is removed before the new one is fitted.
What if I need to return it?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Keep the shell unused, in its original condition with tags and packaging, and retain your proof of purchase. Please inspect it before installation. Return shipping is paid by the customer; see our return policy for the full terms and applicable fees.
How much is shipping?
We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over US$149. For smaller orders, enter your delivery address at checkout to see the shipping charge. Delivery timing depends on your destination; see our shipping guide or contact us if you are coordinating a repair appointment.
